Flashes For Kilt Hose

Flashes are an essential part of your kilt outfit. They are wrapped around the top of your hose, the hose are then folded over the top part of the flashes. Flashes evolved from ribbons that were wrapped around the top of the hose to keep the hose in place.

Flashes are sold in pairs. The proper way to wear them is to have the ribbon-side facing away from your body (as opposed to 'inward'). Many of our photos for the kilt outfits will show the flashes in proper position on your kilt outfit.

Traditionally, flashes that match your kilt tartan are to be chosen.
